New Year's Resolution
Happy New Year!
2015 was a great year of change for me. Many personal accomplishments and life decisions were made last year such as earning my Masters in Art and moving to the Philly-region with my child and sweetheart after quite a few years of being a single mom to my daughter (co-parenting her with my ex-husband). New Year' Day marked 6 months into my new family life here on the Philly/Camden waterfront and it's been soooo great! I LOVE our loft! I love my new 'hood, my new job, and of course, I ADORE my family. 2016 will present major opportunities for growth, I believe as well. For one, I turn 40 this year! (I can hardly believe that!) And I am focusing more energy on interior design than ever before. Services such as home staging and room redesign will soon be made available to the public. And I plan to do more DIY posts/videos/ and workshops because I love to teach and help others bring their ideas to fruition.
My line, Jypsea Leathergoods, will drop the fashion accessories and jewelry and be more of a lifestyle home goods brand. And between running Jypsea, redesigning spaces, creating content, teaching workshops, and my day job as a visual merchandiser for a major home goods/furniture retailer; I am helping my daughter with the launch of her brand of gourmet, gluten-free brownies plus going to schoool to earn my real estate license soon. Woooo! That's a mouthful. :)
Which brings me to my new year's resolution: become a morning person! I am now waking up at 5:30am each day to workout, write, juice and start my day on the right foot and full of creative energy. I've made it through week one and I already see the results. No, I don't think I will ever enjoy waking up this early but with all I'm doing I seriously needed an extra 10 hours/week and this is where I am grabbing it from.
I plan to see more and do more than ever in 2016!
I hope to take you along the 2016 journey with me. Please communicate via social media (@theterinanicole on IG, @theterinanicole on Twitter, @Jypsea Leathergoods on FB) to share your 2016 with me as well! Stay motivated! Life changes for the better when you do.
PS: I am on my favorite show this Sunday: HGTV's Flea Market Flip! See me redesign flea market finds at 8pm on HGTV or their sister channel Great American Country depending on your local listings!
