Create a Love Nest in Time for Valentine's Day!

Create a Love Nest at Home for Valentine's Day

Going out on a romantic date on Valentine's Day was the norm Pre-COVID19, if you don't mind the crowds and over-priced venues.

But if you'd like to create a romantic atmosphere in the comfort of your own home doing so is easier than you may think.

To set the mood for love throughout your home, here are a few of my tried-and-true tips:

Bedroom:

Whether home cooked or takeout, a meal is always sexier when served in bed so cuddle up and get cozy with bae!

Adorn your bed with Hug & Kisses pillow set by Crate & Barrel.

Create ambiance plus get touchy-touchy with a Massage Oil Candle from The Nappy Bohemian. I can't stop sniffing mine! And you can use it as a body/hair butter straight from the jar without lighting the wick. The unisex, sultry scents are a delight to the senses!

Livingroom:

Take your Netflix+Chill to the next level by laying a blanket on the livingroom floor and having an indoor picnic! Tres chic for your amor!

I lucked up and found my beautiful full picnic set at a thrift shop but this one above is just like it from Amazon.

Activities:

Playful games and activities done together can heighten the romance and help create a memorable experience. One thing my spouse and I have done on Valentine's day is paint abstract art together for our bedroom wall. Everyday, looking at the artwork was a little reminder of the fun we had that day.

Not the creative type? Try this game with your boo:

Most importantly, keep it fun and sexy and your love nest will be something you can recreate all year long!
