Service Description
In just 2 days, students will learn various ways to give old clothes new life. No sewing experience required but is helpful. Bring in a blazer that you'd like to breathe new life into and you'll add new fabric, buttons, embroidery, appliques, fabric paint, and much more to create a fly new statement piece while discovering ways to bring these techniques to the rest of your wardrobe. Also, bring in clothes that need alterations and mending. You'll leave with a beautifully updated wardrobe and the skills to make everything in your wardrobe wearable again! The session is Wednesday-Thursday, 10am-4pm. All tools are provided for you to keep. Must be 12 years old or older. Will need to bring blazer and possibly a 2nd one if you want to switch out the sleeves or other parts. You may bring trim of your own but their will be trim/buttons/patches/appliques, etc provided. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. A menu will be sent via email from local eateries. If you have your own sewing machine that is in good working condition, you may use it, although no machine sewing is required.
